Yi Gui He Noodle Shop (逸桂禾面馆) is an underrated noodle shop in the Old Town part of Shanghai.

The Yangchun Noodles (阳春面) is their best-seller. Spring, thin wheat noodles are served in a clear, light broth usually made from soy sauce, sometimes with a hint of pork or chicken stock, and flavored with minimal seasoning. Another favorite is the Cold Noodles (凉面), tossed with a sesame-peanut dressing.They also have fried pork chop (排骨), large meat-filled huntun dumplings (鲜肉大馄饨), sesame noodles (麻酱拌面), Shanghai-style beef curry soup noodles (咖喱牛肉汤面), and braised beef noodles (红烧牛肉汤面).

What’s also cool about this shop is that you can buy raw noodles and dumplings for home, as well as their house-aged soy sauce, which is also used to season dishes.

It’s a little underrated, perhaps only with local Chinese, as their noodles are priced slightly higher than the average, which deters some people.
